XTS Recalled for Parking Brake Software Problem

Cadillac is recalling 2013-2015 XTS models for an issue with the electronic parking brake. There are reports of the brake staying partially engaged after being released. This could lead to premature brake wear as well as leading to excessive heat and risk of fire at the parking brake wheels. Dealers will apply a software update to correct this issue. XTS owners should keep an eye out for an official notice in the mail in the coming weeks.
