Cadillac Eyeing Other ATS Variants

It's always fun to hear the news that flows from a major auto show... This time, following the unveiling of the ATS Coupe, Cadillac executives have revealed that GM is looking into several other body styles for their hit ATS. 2015 Cadillac ATS CoupeIn addition to the ATS-V, Cadillac is working on the business plans to support both a convertible (apparently already designed and engineered and simply awaiting the go-ahead to hit production) and a sport wagon. The convertible seems to be a lock for production, but the wagon is a tougher sell (literally, as the segment is approximately 11,000-strong combined in the North American market - making an ATS wagon a definite tiny seller). More likely is an ATS-based small crossover that we've heard rumored for some time now that would slot below the SRX. Hmmm, an ATS-V sport wagon sounds awfully tasty, though.
