CES 2021 - Cadillac Personal Autonomous Vehicle Concept

As part of CES 2021 and the GM Exhibit Zero web site, Cadillac has shown a teaser of how they envision the Cadillac brand being used in a fully autonomous future.

Replacing a ride-hailing or taxi service, Cadillac is showing an autonomous ‘pod’ concept where Cadillac could bring luxury to consumers in smaller groups in the future.

Designed for maximum interior volume and styled as a high-tech ‘living room’ on wheels, Cadillac envisions a fully AI-powered, electric vehicle experience. Luxuries on display are a simulated fireplace, leather upholstered couches, face recognition to integrate with individual preferences, touch screen(s) in the arm-rests to allow occupants to command the vehicle.

Obviously this vehicle is not expected to go on sale anytime soon, but it does show how Cadillac is thinking about implementing their self driving and electric technologies into segments that don’t yet exists.
